What does a Live Online Class (Virtual Class) mean?

A live online class is a scheduled interactive instructor-led online lesson delivered by CodeWhiz instructor(s).

How does the Live Online Class (Virtual Class) work?

All students receive a virtual orientation lesson before the start of their course. For each lesson, your child will receive an email invitation containing a link allowing them to log onto our virtual classroom. We schedule a maximum of eight students who are based in the UK. The lessons themselves are the exact same as is delivered in a physical classroom. Through our virtual classroom environment, your child has the option to raise their hand, ask questions and also speak to the other students in their class (though we do have a mute all option – just in case!) CodeWhiz teachers are able to pass control of their monitor to an individual student or share it amongst all the students. With permission, we can take control of a students’ monitor to demonstrate concepts, share common mistakes or outstanding work as we would in a physical classroom.

CodeWhiz program is very well structured and much more stronger program than anything else available. As part of the package, each student gets their own access to the online classroom and LMS to access the course material and class recordings. They also get their own account on our online coding platform, where they follow-along for coding during class, practice, work on and submit their coding assignments. Our online platforms give students the freedom to login and work from anywhere in the world and they are also not tied to a particular device as nothing is stored locally on their machine.

Is there any homework assignment given to students?

CodeWhiz has regular homework assignments to supplement classes. There are quizzes, reviews and challenges to show mastery of the material. We do not assign grades, but do recognize special success.

What if my child is experiencing difficulties with assignments?

All they have to do is send an email to what they are finding difficult. A Member of the team will then take it from there.
